I have not taken offense in anything you have written. Politics is deeply personal and emotional because it has a direct affect on our lives. My Dad was a liberal democrat his entire life. Like many in my age group I moved to the Republican Party and that led to some interesting debates in our household. But we are all friends in the end. I arranged to have President Ronald Reagan mail he and my mother a 50th anniversary card. When I drove home for the 50th I waited for my Dad to tell me he recieved the card. He didn't. So I asked him if he received it. He disliked Reagan and his reply was "just like him to waste money he sent me two cards."
