This was a good question to ask....no need for condescension in pointing out the phone book, which in most places we've lived is a royal pain in the rear to use. I'm used to that being the last place I'd go, because I'd first have to read the covers of the 6 extra ones
dumped on us by advertising companies other than our phone provider. Some are from other communities not in our local shopping area, and some have only partial lists of businesses or only selected ones that advertise with them.
And then most of those extra so-called "phone books" are like the gobs of sloppy color junk advertising pages that clog up our mailbox.....but in a binding. Can't STAND to dig thru that stuff!
Now that you asked an intelligent question and got sensible responses, I'll know where to take my comforters to wash. Thank you.
