Default nom de plume

Who could the nom de plume "Shadow" be cover for. Hmmmmm......stealth Villages bashing under the banner of contrived shocking revelation? Gratuitous negative attacks on Morse and his family by sinister, anonymous innuendo cloaked in all the subtlety of a sledgehammer? A clear bias to perpetuate negative criticism?

Hmmmmm could it be.......... a columnist for the Orlando Sentinel?

Idle hands of the devil's workshop?

A self ordained champion of truth, Justice and the American way.....and the conscious of The Villages?

A clandestine Lake Weir operative?

A disgruntled Spruce Creek or Stone Crester?

Yes, yes.........it's getting clearer.........I believe I have it.

Go GG..........I believe you have it. I think I got it from you ......and your insightful posts, that is.

Go Shadow.......how dull would life be without pessimistic, contrarian views to fire up the glass half fullers.....like me.

Like most Villagers, I spent my working years fighting the battles that were necessary. I raised my family and served my country. I am content to read a "good news" newspaper and dismiss any input that does not please me. I accept that the developer is not perfect, but he has done significantly more good than evil. Just look around you. All indications suggest that he will keep that balance in the future, the naysayers and pessimists notwithstanding..

At this stage of life, I have earned the right, and am content, to dismiss circumstances that irritate me. Compared to traumatic life's experiences we have all suffered and endured....they are ships that pass in the night and are not really important. Health is important. Happiness is important. Love is important. I consider myself fortunate to be able to bounce out of bed in the morining....and take on whatever wonderful adventure The Villages lifestyle has in store. I actually have compassion for those who take vicarious comfort by bringing unsolicited clouds and rain into the lives of others. I do respect their right to do so as long as subscription is voluntary.

Have a good day in The Villages.
