No perceived Utopia - I see the warts here.
But very unlikely that the map costs pennies - likely your perception not approaching fact. Cost of production (including color seps) for a full color document that size is more than pennies. Then add to that shipping, storage, disposal of the outdated maps, new neighborhoods added to the master, etc. I would guess there is about a 100% markup. And hey - no one says you have to buy it!
