I got 150 responses for people wanting one day a week work. I wanted someone semi retired living in the Villages who wanted some part time work. Most responses were from people living somewhere near the Villages and desperately seeking some work. Many were willing to work for very low pay. Minimum wage seemed to be the going rate and I advertised it above that.

Based on this limited sample, if I needed to work to move there, I would make sure I found a job at a salary I was willing to accept before moving.

I believe that this is very sage advice. Please listen.
