Another option: Your renters could ask one of their neighbors back home to bundle up all their mail every so often, stuff it in an Express Mail envelope/box (that they would have bought for them, of course!  ), and send it to your villa address. This method would ensure that they'd get to see ALL their mail.

We have a small town post office address and I know the postmaster personally. He told us when we were in TV for the month of April, that forwarding for a short period, and then unforwarding (is there such a word?) may well cause problems. He offered to sell me three prepaid packets and they would bundle the mail and send to us at the renters address on three dates we chose. They are not supposed to do that, but that is the kind of service you still get in a small town! Having the neighbor do it would be equally effective and probably the preferred way to go.
