The medical care here may not be up to the standards of whatever area you moved from but I can tell you it is vastly improved from what it was when
I moved here 13 years ago! It was not at all unusual to travel to Leesburg or Ocala for medical care, due to a lack of doctors here. There was no hospital and no urgent care centers that I can recall. I think the best thing that you can do is to visit these forums and ask questions about our experiences with various medical professionals and facilities. It hasn't been easy finding good doctors. I can't help but wonder if I might have had the same problem moving to almost any new location that was not in a big metropolitan area?
