plants and pets
I don't want anyone to panic but I am an avid gardener and although not a master gardener I have extensively looked into Florida plants and their toxins. Most ALL Florida plants have some sort of toxins in them. Some are mild and some can be severe to pets. I would suggest goggling the plants, trees and bushes in your individual yard or google poison or toxic Florida plants. Also I have found that when my dog walks on grassy areas being in the neighborhood or along pathways I wipe his feet with a baby wipe after we get home as there is so much chemicals put down on the grasses here. He likes to lick his feet and gets sick if I don't wipe his feet off. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.
