I have had friends there and remember something about an outdoor concert on New Year's Eve by the Beach Boys (?). Now that may have been a one time deal; and it may have caused too many problems. Also weren't there firworks at one time there on July 4th? Also there was the post about the change of outdoor furniture at the pools.
I know that as a community grows, logistics have to change and that could be some of the reasons for the changes. Remember I am a Wannabe and want to clear this up for the lurkers who have not made up their minds yet. I mention all of this because....some post and it is easy to get an impression when the reality may be that just a few feel this way but they are the ones who have posted so the impression is skewed. (Personally, I think TV is all wonderful but I tend to have rose colored glasses anyway  ) |
