Has anyone ever been told by their cardiologist that when the combined temperature and humidity reach, say a level of 150%, it is dangerous for them to be out and about or exert in any way outdoors? We have two relatives who were told something like that by their doctors..........now wouldn't the humidity always be 100% in Florida???? So, combined with a summer temperature, it would appear they can never venture out unless in an air conditoned car into an air conditioned building. Would appreciate any info from those who have been told this by their docs. Thanks in advance. p.s. What about people with artificial heart valves or circulatory problems???

Humidity isn't always 100% in Fla - weather channel has it as 55% at 1151 hrs. It varies throughout the day.
Dewpoint is the number to watch. When it is 72 or higher it gets progressively more uncomfortable. The humidity can be near 100% and the dewpoint could be around 70 and it would be bearable outside.
