There are no REAL spending cuts.
As long as the debt ceiling continues to be increased that simply means we are spending more than we can afford.
All that has been accomplished is to reduce the rate that the spending INCREASES.

Maybe Putin is correct in his statement that we have become a parasite.

Even with all the arm waving by the conservatives and tea party folks about getting Washington's attention....I don't think so.
They are finding words to make what they did more acceptable.

Once again business as usual in Washington has prevailed.

Watch the terminology vs the real savings. Like eliminating a program that no money is being spent on. Is that a reduction? NO IT IS NOT! Not hiring 10 people? A reduction? NO IT IS NOT.

And these are examples of what we will see. When what we need is the elimination of programs that in fact have ongoing cash being spent.

Just watch the game playing. Plus don't look for another discussion until the next time the cap needs to be raised.

The recent exercise has again demonstrated Washington's ability to make a banquet out of a ham sandwich.

All representatives pet programs and donor's programs ans special interest programs and lobbyist programs are still on tact....not one dime reduction. And the raised ceiling only assures they get more to spend.

We do deserve what we get!!!!
