Trish please don't go back to lurking as I enjoy your post and sense of humor and I'm sure others do too. I too took it as a joke but obviously the word clique is upsetting to some and understandably so.

It seems no matter where you go in social situations there are always going to be cliques, that is just the way life is. I have ran across cliques countless times throughout life. Most times I am able to join the clique if I choose too. The question becomes which group of people do I want to be friends with. Who do I enjoy being with the most and share the same interest I do. When you think of it that way its not really a clique, rather a group of people you choose to associate with.

As for the forum and the sensitivity on this subject and many other topics, that is normal. Anytime you have a lot of people they will have different opinions and that is okay too.
