Most of the glare we notice with the plasma TV we have there in TV (?
) is from any light source that's at the same level/height as the set. The light from a solar tube is clear up at the ceiling and is diffused. Would you see its reflection on the screen if things are situated "just right"? Yes, but I don't think there would be an issue with glare.
And to your last question: I'd suspect that you already know the answer! You'll be so busy doing "stuff" that you won't have much time for watching shows during the day!!
