I was very surprised at how expensive new golf carts can be! Seems the basic (who wants basic?), Village ready, Yamaha gas will run you about $7,000 to $8,000. We were told new electrics were at least that and sometimes more. The Yesteryears seem to start around $17,000 to $19,000. Of course, like a car, there are numerous options to consider!
