Totally off topic, but once Catholics reach a certain age -- 75? are Catholics no longer bound by the "no meat on Fridays during Lent" rule? I told my Dad about that a few months ago and he looked at me like I had grown a third eye (he's a very observant Catholic).

The TV Catholics that I know of that age (Polish-Americans from the Chgo North Side) all observe the no meat on Friday in Lent rule. However, that doesn't mean that they are not exempt because of their age; it's just what they do.
