I'm not so sure. $30 saves paying a person benefits for 6 months; and if they fail again, for 3 more years. How many non-drug taking recipients tests would one failed applicants results "pay for"?

I think this is an extremely positive step, and I give our governor, Rick Scott, a standing ovation on principle alone. Provisions have been made to take care of a drug users children, if any, and that adds a measure of shame that has been long missing from the way some people choose to screw up their lives. Maybe this will deter a drug users offspring from following their parents example of experiencing little, if no, consequences for their behavior. It might bode positive outcomes for the future of our children.
