I can tell you that a United Van Lines tractor trailer delivered our stuff on a Sunday morning at 10am on July 24th this year to a courtyard villa, the only concern we had was how the tractor trailer was going to get down our street. He made it, but just barely. Actually we were very glad to see them since we had been in our home since July 5th with no TV and sleeping on an air mattress.
Our furniture was originally due to be delivered on July 8th. My one recommendation is don't use Mayflower, they picked up our furniture in Maryland on Monday June 27th and was due to deliver it the following week, July 8th. However, it sat in a warehouse until the third week of July and didn't get picked up until our local affiliate called United to deliver because Mayflower kept pushing back our delivery date and still had no driver scheduled.
The one good thing was after July 8th we received a $125 per day late delivery refund, we got a check for $2000 from Mayflower three days after our furniture was delivered. We had to pay the driver with certified check for $2841 when it was delivered, so our move only cost $841.
