And parked cars RV's, boats etc. parked on the street do impact home values. It turns a percentage of prospective buyers off. When you lower the pool of potential buyers, you lower the value of the home.

That is my understanding as well--don't know where I heard it but think there are threads here on this as well. My neighbor brings his motocycle on a small trailer when he comes for the winters and he had it in his driveway for two days (hadn't had a chance to take it to storage yet after his arrival) and he got a notice that he had to remove it as it was a violation.) Trailers, boats, etc., have to be in garage and cannot be left on driveways. Can't believe that there wouldn't be some sort of restrictions for RV's.
