The Where To Retire magazine usually runs articles on developments that advertise in the magazine. If you read the Mag over a period of time you will see the more advertising done, the more articles appear. To my knowledge TV has never advertised in the mag, thus no articles or rankings in their top 100 whatevers. In the past The Plantation and DW Spruce Creek have been listed in their polls. Even Howie In The Hills has been ranked!
Over a period of time you will see that that magazine is really a glorified pile of brochures written by P/R firms and chambers of commerce.
In my opinion the only real value in the mag is their table of cost of living indexes.

The doctor I went to last month and there was a magazine of the top 100 doctors in CT. I mentioned to him that all my doctors were in there but him as I knew he was a top notch specialists.

He said he didn't want to pay the six thousand dollars to have his picture in it.

Moral - TV sells itself when people visit. As a wannabee, I would like to keep that a secret.
