You want facts:
The latest data show that a big portion of the federal income tax burden is shouldered by a small group of the very richest Americans. The wealthiest 1 percent of the population earn 19 per*cent of the income but pay 37 percent of the income tax. The top 10 percent pay 68 percent of the tab. Meanwhile, the bottom 50 percent—those below the median income level—now earn 13 percent of the income but pay just 3 percent of the taxes. These are proportions of the income tax alone and don’t include payroll taxes for Social Security and Medicare.

You see... I'm not trying to be mean spirited here... I truly don't get it. When I see the super rich saying they aren't paying their fair share and I am truly aware of the "loop holes" so they don't have to pay the taxes I wonder why people like you would respond the way you did. You are correct... They DO pay taxes... Just not their fair share.
Whey don't we have a flat tax? Then there would be NO questions about it or argument. Now... That seems fair... Doesn't it to you as well?
Wait.. .I take that back.. There are corporations that are not paying taxes....
