So far I've personally I'm not sure I know what the plan is. I thought it protected me from pre existing issues with the insurance companies so, took myself off my husbands and only had my own this year, saving me a ton of money. Now I find that's only for children. Oops! I'm not sure it will hurt me when I go back to my husbands insurance this year as my "condition" is minor....

I have always questioned the part of the plan about people "having to buy insurance or be fined" I think if people could afford it, they would buy it.

I heard that in order to get it passed... a lot of people played the ... If you put this in, I will vote for it game.

Other then that... I'm not sure I know what's in it.
There is a thread that I began awhile ago...asking that same question...the President of the United States has/had the power to call them back to work on this...even if unsuccessful it is/was the right thing to do.
