Maybe I'm not looking at all of this right, don't mean to offend anyone, but I do have opinions like everyone else on here. Here goes...

It seems to me that the speeding issue comes down to what's happening in many areas of society today and it's the "me, me, me" attitude. Whatever I want to do no matter if there may be consequences to others. It's the same with the rude parking issues in the squares. Who cares if you get blocked in...you're where I want to park. My cart's nicer than yours so I deserve the whole space. And on and on it goes. Are there always bad consequences? Of course not, but sometimes they are bad. This place is supposed to be for everyone's enjoyment...not just a select few. It seems to be getting more and more the latter, unfortunately. I thought most of us came here to enjoy life and get away from the proverbial "rat race", not bring it along. As far as getting passed by faster carts....happens all the time to us. I don't really care because I don't have to be anywhere first. Go for it. I get there when I get there at my little 19.6.

If the speed is set to 25, then you will have those that have to go 30. Set it to 30 and they will have to go 35. The same thing happens on the highways and roads all the time. Speed limit is 35 - go 45+; speed limit 70 - go 80+; speed limit 85 - go 100, etc.

Why?

BTW, if you do have an accident with your golf cart on the paths, are you saying you don't think SCSO should be called since they don't have any jurisdiction on the paths anyway? How would that affect an insurance claim?
