Rest assured that your home will be one you will be very satisfied with for as long as you choose to inhabit it. And judging by posters who have purchased "pre-loved" homes here in TV, they are most satisfied as well.
I have been known to be a perfectionist in my day.... and have also been guilty of micromanaging out of worry that someone who doesn't have my standards of quality will somehow ruin my "gig". That is often the case in the outside world.
