What I'm a little unclear on is the stuff that Politifact quoted. They went to the actual pages of the bill to explain EXACTLY where the guy on Fox News (who was subsequently quoted by Victoria Jackson) got his facts wrong.
I mean, yes, there are people out there that if they told me the sky was blue, I'd look up. But the fact that Politifact can call Obama on his broken promises tells me that they're not into hyperpartisanship.
Are you saying you don't believe the text of the bill that clearly describes the Ready Reserve for what it is (and it's as much a private army as is the Salvation Army) - or that you don't believe Politifact is pointing people at the actual bill?

Once a "civilian army" is in place by law, the purview of that army can be changed at a future date. We don't need this and the creation of such a force in the first place, and history warns us to reject this idea. Common sense and a view to the past (think Europe) must prevail here.
