This thread has gone on and on about culture diversity and sex education but no one seems concerned that they know anything about history, civics and geography.
They are trying rewrite the history books and trying to leave out everything that made the United States what it is. Before they get done, there will be no Civil war. No south. No Confederate flags. No monuments to those who defended the rights of the South. I think that is just wrong.
How many kids these days even take History? How many know anything about the US government and how it uses the checks and balances of the three branches to keep the government in check. Do they even know there are three branches?
It is obvious that the current president does not know because he has gone out of his way to tear it down. Czars instead of letting the Cabinet do the jobs that they were set up to do. Making laws and rules without any consideration to the Constitution that is supposed to be our road map to ruling the people of the United States.
Sex education and cultural diversity are small potatoes as compared to learning what made the United States what is is today. These kids need history and civics lesson. And geography is good to know - especially if they start doing crossword puzzles.
