My daughter went to school in Montgomery County, Maryland, which is a bastion of liberals. The schools talked about sex in high school Health class. It was in their textbooks but just the clinical drawings, of course. No condoms were ever distributed and no demonstrations on how to use them. It had been proposed to the Board of Education but got voted down almost to a person to demonstrate the proper application of a condom by using a banana and a condom.

I still remember during my high school days that it was "cool" for guys to carry a condom in their wallet and use real fine sandpaper on the wallet to reveal the outline of the rolled-up condom in your wallet. I wonder if they still do that?
