She is still running on those laurals. If she every gets enough support to run on a ticket and that is a big IF, her excess baggage (Bristol, her quitting the governorship, her rhetoric, to name a few) will be enough to launch her into oblivion. She will become a footnote in history.

People vote for the President, not the Vice President. They didn't vote for Cheney and they didn't vote for "gaffe-a-minute-Biden.
