Sister in law chose Marana Arizona north of Tucson for her retirement and loves it. Very active in O.L.L.I.
The main reason she chose Heritage Highlands in Marana Arizona was due to her arthritis. The dry air seemed to relieve the pain immediately.
We've been wondering how the humidity in Florida affects arthritis pain.
Arizona does seem excessively HOT in the summer; yet people we know do prefer it to Florida's humidity.
Getting back to the arthritis pain, I've read someplace that Arizona has the same amount of rhuematologists and arthritis specialists as does any state.
Go figure.
