Just like the many corporations that bled off earnings from their pension plans when they were booming and over producing funds...they dredged some of it for income...then the bubble burst.

Exactly the reason why SS is in trouble....the greedy politicians used what was earned on our contributions for other than what it was intended.

If you do not understand this then you are not aware of the "borrowing" of the earnings off our money....private corporation and or the federal government. It is no accident they are comprised mostly of the legally trained...they do fully understand just how far they can go....and as usual we the people have allowed it.

SS has been abused by whoever has been in office when it was raided...R or D or what ever!!
