It says father's BIRTHPLACE was "Kenya, East Africa".
Good grief, can't you even bother to read the original?
...and here's a clue. When it was a British colony, you know what it was called? "British East Africa" until 1920 and subsequently the "Colony of Kenya". So it had BOTH names.
