His speech honoring those who gave their lives to fight back and try to take back control of flight 93 against all odds was one of the emotional highlights, if you will, of this weekends 9/11 tributes.
What a great gift to the families of those who were lost on that flight. Not to leave the assembled family members in that emotional state, he generously at the end perks up the crowd a little bit by vowing to work with House Speaker John Boehner to raise the $10 Million needed to finish that memorial.
I voted for him in '92; campaigned against him in '96, and never once underestimated him. Even with all his well publicized troubles, it was no accident he left office with the highest approval rating of any president since the 2nd World War.

Your right, it was no accident that he left office with a high rating, thanks to Newt Gingrich and the Contract to America.
