Wait a minute. This thread started with OP asking about a rumor that the cheerleaders won't be among the entertainment at patriotic events and the next thing you know, the rumor becomes there will not be any patriotic events and the next thing you know speculation is started that there won't be Christmas trees.
I'm starting a rumor that next year, TV will continue with patriotic events and Christmas trees but that someone will start a rumor that they will all be gone in 2013.
