I'm retired and my wife will be working a few more years. We want to be active and socialize. We enjoy eating out, cooking out on the grill and just want to live our lives as worry free as possible. Although this criteria is our hope, we would like to be looking at an area of single family homes around five years old or less, with a view of water or golf course.
Any tips or help to make our first visit a success would be greatly appreciated. We are looking forward to having "The Villages" style of retirement, just as your television commercial advertises.

Oh and while you are there I am sure you will get lost looking at all the other information. One visit and you will be sure to get a great feeling for TV, a few visits and you will know your way around. Get a map, the $5 one. If you go out with a TV sales rep ask for one or you can buy it.

Oh and another place to find rentals is CraigsList, Ocala. That is how I rented on my first visit.
