Years ago, when I moved here, I was also concerned about the moving van blocking the street for some time.
I visited my neighbors who would probably be most impacted were a van to block their driveway! They noted my concerns and moved their golf cart so that they'd have absolutely no problems!
The movers acknowledged that they couldn't maneuver the cul-de-sac-island! So, they backed down the street; they adjusted their trailer/tractor so that they couldn't possibly exit the area as I had suggested that they do!
Fortunately, there was an option for them and they headed south to the Miami-Dade area just as soon as they'd unloaded!
I felt that the mover guys were professionals who knew one h*** of a lot more about maneuvering their over-sized vehicle anywhere than I did!
At any rate, you know that those of us who now live here have endured any number of "issues!"
