I would be wary of building adjacent to lots not owned by The Villages, but the experience of dozens of people building at the same time in the same neighborhood is wonderful. Building new friendships with people who are in the same boat as you, is something I'll treasure a lifetime. I'll always have the memory of my neighbor and me installing our garage attic stairs and other projects together.
