We absolutely have the ability to free ourselves from the foreign oil dependency, yet we do not do it. It is an absolute certainty that by pursuing the energy independence there will be hundreds of thousands of new jobs created. We know that life in the USA will improve for millions. We know the deficit will be reduced by billions.

What we don't know is why we are not doing something about it. Another one of those simple solutions that has been pushed to the back burner time and time again for more than 40 years.....and we the people are content to allow it...eventually it will be too late.

More proof politicians will only do what is in their personal or political interest....what other reason could there be?

What will it take to get the lazy Americans to demand action in this area. It solves so many of our problems.

Why NOT???
