I'm with texasfal. TV is a great place to live but don't expect a living wage. For most jobs, they don't exist. Even nursing is way below the national average. Many of the cable jobs here are subbed out, so you don't get corporate salaries even though you pay corporate rates. Sadly, restaurant managers are a dime a dozen and paid accordingly. A server earns $3.50/hour (if lucky) and tips average 12%.
