Default widened garage opening
has anyone seen/done a wider garage door on the 1 1/2 garages? we are gonnabees and have looked at a few patio villas and i'm wondering if the garage door opening could be widened to accept a 16' door; replacing the 12'? if it would fit, would the architectural committee approve something like that? we're having trouble visualizing 2 golf carts and having our 2 cars( at the beginning anyway) and "stuff" fitting in a 1/.5 car.. the amount of inside s.f. is fine.. its the garage s.f.(or lack of) that we're grappling with
