The Wall Street protests are the work of the Obama White House in that he continues his message of class warfare and it is a hateful and dangerous message.
The reason is simple Obama needs votes badly. That's why the unions are so heavily involved.
Also it is a counter offensive against the Tea Party movement which has frightened the delights out of the Dems.
The saving grace is that many Dems are keep a arm's length distance.
A CPA wrote an article in the Wall Street about "Moe the Millionaire. It seems he got himself a two year degree from a local community college and worked in insurance starting out at $9.000. Over the years he purchased a home for $95,000. He invested his money in a company his friends had started. We advance to his retiring. His house is now worth $450,000. he has no IRA or 401k but his friends are selling their business and he made a handsome profit of $950,000. Moe is now a millionaire and Obama wants an additional 5%.
Does this story resonate with at least half the people in The Villages
Prior to the mis-handling of our economy by OB many of our IRA's, etc were coming along nicely. Add up your assets and get ready because if you think OB's and the Dems plans to add a 5% tax on millionaires is going to fly, forget it. Because the really rich will just move their money to places you and I can't go and OB will continually drop the threshold of who gets taxed an additional 5%. If you don't agree think Alternative Minimum Tax because that was suppose to hit only the wealthy.
Finally OB once again invokes that "strawman" to deflect his inability. Now its millionaires who are the problem.
As I recollect from history there was a European leader who blamed all of his country's ills on a class of greedy and manuplative people.
Obviously, I do not believe that physical harm would come to millionaires but the consequences from trying to punish them because they are good at being profitable can be as dangerous.
If anyone believes they will be better off financially following Obama plans they may want to review our history for just the last 60 years.
The Wall Street protester are badly in need of an education
