adv007: This is a classic example of the type of response residents get from village employees. This attitude exacerbated the hard feelings when the Developer sold thw wellness center. Many disabled people needed the indoor heated pool. I witnessed the callousness of many of the employees. Keep in mind residents never had advance notice.
There are many such stories from residents. so I believe your reaction was right and justified. A simple explanation would have been nice and that's what you should have told him. Finally a corporation's attitude begins from the top and works it way down. Good leaders know this and so work hard at cultivating the corporate cultural.
