How the program initiated is immaterial to this thread and does not excuse the blatant lying of the current Transportation Secretary, Janet Napolitano.

It also doesn't help the people hurt under her direction.

The story should only get bigger. How are travelers going to feel about going through these "safe radiation" machines when the TSA employees begin to back away from these machines while forcing travelers through them?
