I totally agree that Southern California is gorgeous with the perfect weather. I would definitely settle there without question. The only downside is the cost of living. But if you can afford it, it just may be the best fit for you and if it's right for you and you're happy, that's all that matters.

Have you found a 55+ community to live in or are you just generally happy with the area?
