Wasn’t sure what we would do about service when we returned. Thinking Dish/ Vonage and whatever. Is Brighthouse a reliable option. Any feedback appreciated.
I just had Comcast Triple Play installed today and the installer was telling me that Comcast as well as our northern service Road Runner are both owned by Brighthouse! Judging by the Brighthouse website, I do not believe that The Villages are under Brighthouse but rather only the Comcast brand name. I doubt they would use both brands in the same area and according to the installer it's doubtful that the individual brand names will be merged under a single brand name in the future.

Update: After checking out the Brighthouse website they seem to indicate that their service is available in our area. I also know have more questions than I have answers. Hard to believe that when the two services are in some kind of a partnership and competing in the same market! http://brighthouse.com/central-florida/default
