Gracie, as you may know, I grew up in Cincinnati. My Dad always warned me about boys who wanted to go "snipe hunting"! I thought that was a local thing but then I also believed that the cats he told me about at bedtime, Pete and Repete, were real, too!

Anyway, Pooh that's a lot of damage for a racoon. I think it's the work of this creature:

Central Florida is home, of course, to the Walt Disney World resort and numerous other tourist attractions.

But Florida is also home to the legend of the Skunk Ape, which is the Sunshine State’s version of Bigfoot.

The hairy creature that walks upright around the Florida woods and swamps is called the Skunk Ape because of its notoriously bad odor. Folks who have reported seeing it describe the creature’s smell as a combination of a skunk, rotten eggs and cow manure. People in Florida have reported seeing or hearing the Skunk Ape for more than 200 years now. And in the past 20 years, about 75 reported sightings have been turned in

Just sayin'. Google it and read about it.

Tootles.
It was a lot of damage and the homeowner said it was a dog like animal. Some suggested a coyote, but the homeowner says it was a wild or feral? dog and not a coyote. We'll have to see if Animal Control has success in securing the beast.

I forgot about the Skunk Ape....cripes, now we've got all sorts of man and beast running amock around here.... Maybe that's what it was......LOLOL!
