My quote was, "If you want to carry a concealed weapon in The Villages and you have a permit - and do not go into a bar - that is your right."

I see no use for it in The Villages but I am not advocating your "right to bear arms" is taken away. Just follow the law.

The only violent crime I know of in the 2 years I have lived here was a domestic shooting involving husband and wife who were BOTH retired police officers. They were trained to use weapons - and a domestic shooting happened.
