No guarantees in life is a thing everyone understands. It was a gamble to help the Iraqi people build a representative republic as we have. The gamble was that the Iraqi's could do what they are doing now; voting us out.

Our mission objectives are evidence of our nation's greatness and magnanimity, but also a road to a downfall if our "students" overreached their capability. That's not to say we don't have a great stake in the outcome, but that just further proves our nation's reverence to the ideas of freedom.

I'm sure the Obama Administration is going to attempt to put as good a face on this as they can, as would any Administration would who had a situation of this magnitude occur during their tenure, and during a political campaign.

The interesting thing politically is what the lamestream media will do. Will they report the story in it's entirety, and relate the truth of the pullout (ejection?), or will they become, as usual, Obama cheerleaders and declare "mission accomplished".
