I agree TV lifestyle is geared to GO, GO, GO out and enjoy activities and the friendly people. I may be wrong and frequently am but I would tend to think one should be active to promote their health and friendships than to stay home and watch television.

If one wants to stay home all of the time, one can live anywhere.
Add to "stay home and watch television" "and sit in front of the computer screen".
