Hmmm, good question. It’s possible that quick turnovers happen just as freqently with resale homes, but you just don’t know it because they aren’t advertised that way.
But, if in fact, quick turnovers are more prevalent with new homes, that wouldn’t surprise me. You read A LOT of “love at first sight”, “bring your checkbook”, “we bought on the 2nd day of our first visit” type stories. It seems to work out for the majority of folks, but I’d be willing to bet that buying too quickly and buyer’s remorse situations happen more frequently with new home sales than it does with re-sales. Just my best-guest....I have absolutely no facts to back that up.
