I thought we'd eventually miss it, and the storm watch drama, fireplace going as we watch the snow fall, etc; but so far we haven't!

Friends cannot even convince us to take a cruise with them through Alaska, even though the photos look beautiful. (Maybe someday we will want to see snow and ice again in person; we never say 'never'; but not so far).

We thrive on the sunny skies (love the days that sunglasses are a must!), and the warm weather here.

It is overcast and a little rainy/misty right now in TV, but we still have comfortable temperatures, so we'll still go to the square and walk later; this is as much weather 'hardship' as I ever want to have again!
Very well said, Freeda.

It was just what I was thinking this morning. I would tend to think that after being in TV a while, one might like to remenisce about the times when one was enjoying the cold but as we all know that after living many years with it, it becomes a drag.

I love the summer so one can go out and be about. The changing of seasons is nice but the winter stinks. - IMHO
