Mother Nature
I gotta feelin' ol' Mother Nature either doesn't want me to go or is sayin' goodbye.
Our moving sale is on this weekend.
Usually, the first snow of the year is a light dusting to maybe an inch-two inches tops. But not this year. ON NO...ol' Mother Nature is throwing a certified N'oreaster at us with 8-12 inches predicted and wind gusts to 35mph.
Its gonna snow harrd all day tomorrow.
Oddly enough, I will mow the lawn this afternoon and shovel snow tomorrow. Such is life in Maine. The old saying is "If you don't like the weather in Maine, just wait a minute".
All is going well with only the appraisal results of the Maine home sale remaining. By way of the Selling Broker, the banker has said the appraisal is in underwriting but to expect "good news" next week.
In TV, the Sellers are cleaning out our soon-to-be home and all repairs have been completed. All utilities and insurances are in place. We even have our new phone number!
The lovely Diane sleeps like a baby while I toss and turn. I envy her.
We are taking a nice bottle of wine to TV with us that we used as a prop when showing the house. We will pop the cork before we retire for the night for the first time in our home in TV.
Will reveal the Village of Casa Dirigo before long!
